Accessible Ticketing

Accessible seating is available for our guests with disabilities or those with impermanent limiting physical conditions (crutches, recent surgeries, pregnancy, etc).

These tickets can be purchased online, over the phone by calling 276.335.APEX (2739), or at the APEX box office. Those purchasing accessible seats may have up to three companions sitting with them (based on availability). If all 3 seats are not needed, please leave them open for other guests who may have physical ailments.

All accessible seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Every effort will be made on the day of an event to accommodate those needing accessible seats however day of cannot be guaranteed.


Animals

Animals that are present for the intent of an agriculture-based event and are considered a part of the event are welcome in the building.


Alcoholic Beverages

Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, glass or metal containers of any kind may not be brought into the facility. Any such items will be confiscated and not returned at the end of the event.


ATMs

ATM machines are located Gates 1 and 12, and at Gate 4 of the Arena.


Camera Policy

Camera devices will be allowed unless an artist, show or promoter states otherwise.

Audio & Video recording devices will not be allowed in the facility.

Dry Docking

For our friends with RVs, we are happy to provide you with space for dry-docking/boondocking on nights that no events are booked. Please be aware that we have zero sewer, electricity or water hook ups. If interested, please call 276.335.APEX (2739)

All RVs parked on APEX property will be given a time frame as well as a waiver. APEX is not responsible for any damage to personal property or vehicles that are housed on the lots at any time.


Firearms & Weapons


No persons are permitted to bring illegal firearms, illegally concealed firearms or weapons of any kind into the APEX. We are asking that law enforcement officials who are present in a non-working function please return their weapons to their vehicles. Anyone with an illegal firearm, an illegally concealed firearm, or any other type of weapon may be reported to authorities and the said item(s) will either be confiscated or the owner will be instructed to return the item(s) to their vehicle.

All items, including coats and bags large and small, are subject to inspection upon entering the Facility.



First Aid

The First Aid station is located on the South concourse near Gate 3. Emergency medical personnel is on site for guests in need of assistance. In addition to basic first aid treatment, an AED (automatic external defibrillator) is located in the administrative office located on the south concourse between Gates 3 and 4.


Intoxicated Guests

Intoxicated guests will not be admitted into the APEX at any time. Guests who become intoxicated are subject to ejection from the event at any time. Persons denied entry into the facility will be offered a refund from APEX Ticket Office.


Lost Children

Anyone finding a lost child during an event please escort the child to the Kid’s Corner/Guest Services at Gate 3.

All families may go to the Kid’s Corner and request the FREE Family Tag.  Both Parent and Child will receive matching wristbands with the parent’s contact information and seat location. Both bands must match before the lost child is turned over to the adult guardian. If bands do not match, the authorities will assist in returning the child to the guardian.


Lost & Found

Any items lost and found items will be held for 30 days. 30 days after the event the items will be donated to the local Goodwill.

If you have lost an item please call 276.335.APEX (2739). You may pick up any lost and found from the Guest Services Office (by Gate 3) on the South side of the building between the hours of 9am-5pm. APEX is not responsible for items that are lost, found or claimed.


Noise Makers & Laser Pointers

Noise makers and laser pointers of any kind are not allowed in the APEX at any time. Individuals with said items will be instructed to return them to their vehicles.


Public & Educational Tours

We want to share the Facility with the community and are happy to host a tour at any time Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, that does not interfere with a previously scheduled or currently happening event.

Re-Entry

APEX does not allow re-entry into the facility. Individuals with an admission ticket who enter the facility and then leave are not allowed back after initial admission. This rule does not apply to guests using the smoking area.


Parking

When arriving at 200 Apex Dr, Accessible Parking is located in Lot A, directly in front of the South side of the Facility. Please display proper identification (DMV placards / mirror tags or license plate tags) for direction to the reserved spaces. Anyone parking in an Accessible Space without a proper permit will be fined by Wythe County police and the vehicle will be subject to towing. Parking Lot Staff patrols frequently to help prevent fraudulent parking.

When continuing on 200 Apex Dr, Lot B is on the North side of the Facility. Lot C is in the lower lot.

Service Animals

APEX allows for the use of service animals by individuals with disabilities. “Service animal” is defined as a dog (or, subject to certain limitations, a miniature horse) that has been trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Emotional Support animals are not permitted at this time. For guests needing Emotional Support animals or additional services, please call 276.335.APEX (2739) prior to the event to see if we can find a compromise.

The patron bringing the animal is responsible for the care and control. Service animals must be on a harness, leash or other tether. If the service animal becomes unruly or is not properly housebroken, the handler may be asked to remove it from the premises and participate in the event without its use.

No ticket is required for a service animal.


Smoking

APEX is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted in any public area of the venues. Guests wishing to smoke must use designated smoking areas and can be found:

Tailgating on APEX property is strictly prohibited.


Wheelchairs

We have a limited supply of wheelchairs available to those who need them. Patrons in need of a wheelchair should contact APEX as far in advance as possible. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests but the wheelchairs are allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
